8/25/15 weekly blog

School is hard especially with all the stuff we have to sign up on in science. But some parts of it are fun like today I learned how to blog and this is my first ever blog in my life. I also learned how to use websites properly and how to use all the school websites. Another thing I learned what you should if something bad happens,I learned that in science. I also learned how to be responsible,respectful,and safe in a classroom in science.

Summary:        This week in science we learned about biogeochemical cycles, more specifically, I learned about the biogeochemical cycle known as the Sulfur Cycle. What I now know about the Sulfur Cycle because of what I learned this week through research is each part in the sulfur cycle. I also now know that their are a lot of different parts in the sulfur, but my focus was trying to make this complicated cycle very simple and easy to understand. Relationships Between Organisms 2/2/18

Summary:        This week in science we learned about different types of relationships between organisms. I now know that their are 5 different types of relationships between organisms. Those 5 different types of relations between organisms are predation or prey and predation, competition, and symbiosis relationships that consist of mutualism, commensalism, and parasitism.  Predation is when one organism consumes all or part of another organism. Predation is a win-lose relationship because organism consumes and the other organism gets hurt or gets consumes. Competition is a relationship where organisms compete for resources such as food, light, water, shelter, mates, etc. Competition is also a win-lose situation. The last type of relationship between organisms is a symbiosis relationship. A symbiosis relationship between organisms of a different species. Zondle and Quizziz 5/1/16

liquid taking its shape of its container      This week my science class did a lot of zondle and quizziz, these are websites that help you learn things and review things that you may have forgot. One thing I reviewed and was a big help for me was the body systems, and this was a big help because I forgot a couple important things about it (I reviewed it in zondle). The thing that I thought was most important that I reviewed from the body systems was I learned the difference between the circulatory system and the respiratory system. Another thing I reviewed was matter (I reviewed it in quizziz). The thing that I thought was most important from that was that liquid is a state of matter that holds its shape because it takes the shape of its container. The last thing I learned (not reviewed) was that brass is a combination of two metals or more. I learned this from doing zondle and doing the lesson physical and chemical properties.
