The Urinary System 10/8/15


Today in science my class learned about the urinary system. One thing I learned about the urinary system is that you would die without it. Because it tells your body when it is time to go to the bathroom and if nothing told your body and brain when it is time to go to the bathroom then you would die because their would be to much waste in your body. So what we did in class is we had a paper and it had information about the urinary system and we had to answer questions on the paper. My class did each question together including Ms. J, my class also read the text together. This is what I mean by we read the text together so basically anybody could jump in after a person was done reading a little bunch of text.

Summary:        This week in science we learned about biogeochemical cycles, more specifically, I learned about the biogeochemical cycle known as the Sulfur Cycle. What I now know about the Sulfur Cycle because of what I learned this week through research is each part in the sulfur cycle. I also now know that their are a lot of different parts in the sulfur, but my focus was trying to make this complicated cycle very simple and easy to understand. Plate Tectonics 3/10/18

Summary:        This week in science we learned about Plate Tectonics. Plates have been on Earth for thousands of years and are consistently moving (very slowly). Through this the Earth can recycle our land, by destroying the old land, and creating new land. These plates are made of rock and are in the lithosphere layer of the Earth. Another thing I know is that there are 3 different type of plate boundaries. Those three types of plate boundaries are convergent boundaries, divergent boundaries, and transform boundaries. Convergent boundaries are when two plates collide and their are two different types of convergent boundaries. The two types of convergent boundaries are collisional boundaries and subduction zones.
